These Terms and Conditions, as may be amended from time to time, apply to all the bookings made on our website.
It is your duty as a client to acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions set out below. AK Chauffeurs will not be responsible for the client’s lack of knowledge regarding any information provided here.
1. Quotation and bookings
1.1. Quotations
All quotations are available for seven days from the initial inquiry.
All quotations are not fixed prices and are subject to changes made based on the following situations: Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Years Eve Period.
1.2. Bookings
A minimum of 24 hour notice is requested for any online booking.
If you would like to book a car within less than 24 hours, please call us on 07375 556 744.
Whilst we do our utmost to ensure our chauffeurs are on time, we do not take responsibility for any delays caused by circumstances that are out of our control, such as road traffic accidents, breakdowns etc.
The chauffeur will drive at a safe and sensible speed in accordance with the road conditions, traffic and legal speed limits.
The chauffeur(s) will travel by the most appropriate route, unless requested/instructed otherwise by the client at the time of the booking.
We may provide subcontracted vehicles when necessary in order to provide a quality service.
By suppling your e-mail address, you give us permission to contact you via e-mail. We guarantee never to supply your e-mail address to any third party.
If there are any changes or variations including extra mileage to the journey, other than what was agreed at the time of the booking, the client will support an extra charge in accordance to the pricing structure on our website.
We reserve the right to change your driver at any time, if necessary, to ensure a prompt and professional service.
It is the customer’s responsibility to allow enough time to be at the location that you want to be dropped of. We gladly advise you on an aproximate journey times but this is only an estimation based on the traffic conditions and our previous experience.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the Dates and Times for the booking are correct.
By booking our services you have agreed to our Terms & Conditions.
2. Cancellation and Refund policy
If a booking is cancelled by the customer within 48 hours from the start of the period of hire, 50% of the payment will be non-refundable.
If a booking is cancelled by the customer within 24 hours from the start of the period of hire, 100% of the payment will be non-refundable.
If the customer does not show at the time and place designated as the pick up point, the full cost of the booking and any waiting time charge will be supported by the customer.
3. Payments
We accept all major credit and debit cards, subject to our acceptance.
Cash payments are accepted only if agreed in advance or for regular customers.
Your chauffeur booking may be subject to additional waiting time, unless agreed in advance when confirming your booking.
The charge on your credit or debit card statement may be one of our following merchant providers:
PayPal, iZettle
4. General Terms & Conditions
Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior or the exterior of the vehicle on hire to them and will be billed accordingly for any repair and valeting required in order to reinstate a vehicle to working order.
Soiling the vehicle will be charged at £400 for the time the vehicle will be off the road, undergoing cleaning.
All vehicles and subcontracted vehicles are fully insured for passengers and third party claims. However, customer’s properties are carried entirely at their own risk and we will not be responsible for the loss or damage of the property. We will keep any lost property at our office and will do our best to return any lost goods left in the vehicles.
If you feel that our service is not to the usual high standards set by us, please contact us as soon as possible in order to investigate and rectify any issues you may have.
